Happy New Year!!

Well I definitely didn't think we would be starting the new year this way, but here we are, lockdown 3.0...

At first I was really concerned that I wouldn't be able to get back into the studio but thankfully Custom House is open and I can continue my practice. At the start of January I spent a lot of time going out drawing in the snow which was really refreshing and got me back into drawing after a break over the festivities.

Using Ice and Pen to Draw

I got back into the studio and have been working on some new pieces for exhibitions that are coming up. As well as my work and doing some applications I have been assisting with the tutoring again with the painting class. It has been really inspiring to see how others are coping and making artwork in the new lockdown and motivates me to keep going.

I am really looking forward to having my work exhibited with the Tatha Gallery from Feb - April. You can view the The Graduates; Four Pillars on the website from this link https://www.tathagallery.com/exhibitions/the-graduates-2021-four-pillars

I really hope the galleries will be allowed to open soon so that people can view the work in real!

Really looking forward to seeing the way I can challenge my work in the next month- stay tuned this year, hopefully exciting things to come!!
